A little about me…
Originally from Hastings, I swapped the seaside for the capital, a career, and new adventures… and haven’t really looked back.
Over the years, I’ve explored London both as a local and a tourist – discovering places Londoners actually hang out, which sights are worth your time, and how to experience the city beyond the usual tourist trails.
These days, I live in Haringey, North London, with my partner and our kitten, Lennie.

Not everything worth seeing in London ends up on a top 10 list. The best spots are often tucked away in less-visited areas, down quiet side streets, or hidden in plain sight – places you might walk past if no one told you they were worth exploring.

Hackney
Hackney’s often an area people think they know, usually summed up by Shoreditch nightlife and a bit of street art. But spend some proper time here and you’ll find so much more. I lived and worked in Hackney for four years, and it quickly became one of my favourite parts of the city.
With big green spaces, some of London’s best bakeries, weekend markets, and independent shops and cafes, this is the side of Hackney I always come back to.
